Policy Thought Leadership
Black British communities have long been underrepresented in political life, not from lack of interest, but lack of access. Policy decisions that directly shape housing, employment, health, and education are made daily in spaces that most Black Britons have never been invited into. Bounce Black needed a strategic partner who could bridge that gap, translating complex policy into content that educated, activated, and connected their community to the political process, while surfacing the hidden benefits, rights, and schemes that already exist but remain largely unknown.
RPC structured an eight-week collaboration built on four pillars. A three-tier LinkedIn content architecture covering Policy & The People weekly, The Black Brief bi-weekly, and Diaspora Opportunity Spotlight monthly. Policy intelligence support and network leverage through RPC's political contacts. And a proposed summer flagship event, Black People in Politics: Pathways, Power & Participation. Every piece was designed to make politics legible, relevant, and actionable for a Black British audience. .
Over 8 weeks, Bounce Black's content reached thousands of Black British community members across LinkedIn and Instagram. Individual posts consistently drew over 100 interactions, with comment sections actively debating housing rights, employment policy, and political representation. The Diaspora and Immigration post became the highest performing piece of the series, driving significant shares across community groups. The Employment Opportunities for Black Youth content sparked some of the most active discussion of the collaboration. The Breaking Barriers to Social Mobility piece resonated widely across both platforms. Across the full series, engagement per post averaged well over 100 interactions. Hidden benefits, rights, and schemes surfaced and translated into accessible, shareable intelligence for a community that had never seen this information presented in plain language. Network expanded to include MPs, public affairs professionals, and think tank experts. Summer 2026 convening planned to deepen Bounce Black's presence as essential infrastructure for Black political engagement in Britain.
