Powering Africa's most credible climate intelligence platform
Aspire Climate Vanguard had the mission, the networks, and the on-the-ground presence to be a serious voice in African climate policy. But serious funders, development finance institutions, philanthropic foundations, bilateral donors, require more than good intentions. They require institutional credibility, consistent research output, and a theory of change that holds up to scrutiny. ACV was transitioning from a grant-dependent advocacy NGO into a credible research institution capable of accessing significant institutional funding. That transition required infrastructure they did not yet have.
PC is embedded as ACV's official research arm and content partner across three simultaneous workstreams. On content, two research articles per week plus a monthly Africa Climate Intelligence Briefing, all following a researcher tone not an activist tone. On institutional positioning, RPC is formally credited on all publications and grant applications and prepares intelligence briefs before every major funder conversation. On funding strategy, RPC has built an 18-month funder roadmap from Bloomberg Philanthropies and Hewlett Foundation through to Green Climate Fund accreditation, and is co-producing a theory of change framework and End of Year Africa Climate Intelligence Summit with ACV in Q4 2026.
